According to my Agent, 30 to 40 percent applicants inside Canada receives Interview instead of PPR.

Thanks. Yeah, I heard about it too. No worries about that. It seems that it is just an easy few-regular-question interview.

It is not required but many applicants do submit w-2 as supporting documents along with the employment letter.
In cases where applicant is not able to obtain an employment letter, they submit w-2, payslips as proof of employment.
Do not worry if you have not submitted w2, cic will contact you if they need any additional information on your employment. Good luck!

Called IRCC and the agent informed that eligibility assessment is being checked at Case Processing Centre Ottawa.

Any estimate when this would be completed?

In my case, I have received AOR on 24th of July, 2018 and cleared the Medicals (MEP) on 15th of August, 2018. On the same day, "Background Check" step has been updated to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."

Still I am waiting with the same status...

Can anyone help me out to know whether I am in IP1 or IP2?

Hi Guys, has anyone here have his Fixed deposit investment, Treasury bills or Mutual fund mature already and is still in IP1 stage?

Not sure, I'm also in the same boat.

It has happened in the past but it's not the usual. Most people move to IP2 before getting PPR

You may get ppr by January I guess. Currently they are trying to clear March and April. After that May where very few of them got pprs, then June than early July applications. So you have around 4 months wait time.

Since last one month processing is completely stopped so there is lot of delay. Expect your pprs by March I would say.
