hey guys I just had one thing in my mind I wanna ask...

When me and my wife (sponsor) got married, our nikkah nama(s) were in ENGLISH. THERE WAS NO URDU NIKKAH NAMA. (Pakistani govt issues both URDU as well as ENGLISH nikkah nama for the ease of the person getting married and both are valid)
And when we applied I sent the CERTIFIED COPY OF ENGLISH (ORIGINAL) NIKKAH NAMA & THE NADRA GIVEN MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE.

I have been reading online that people get asked for their urdu nikkah nama, but the point being here, I never had an urdu nikkah nama. I am just panicking and worried about what I should do if they ask me about it? I still haven't gotten any email after "File transferred to LVO"

I suggest writing a letter to LVO explaining your case. I have heard some members do that when they apply.

Congrats! My Husband and I have been stuck in BGC since Aug 24th, Hopefully InshAllah we will hear something soon aswell

I suggest writing a letter to LVO explaining your case. I have heard some members do that when they apply.

They do not care they tell her, they cannot bump up her file and there is other people ahead of her. Would not fair to people who started a head if her

1. upload the nikkah namah online .. that's how you got the letter, that's where they want you to upload it ..
2. as for the pictures, you don't have them on your cell phone? dvds? album? nothing? you are in Pakistan, where you got married, you should have some pictures. they want more pictures because they want to see every Rasum .. so send them 30 or 40 more pictures .. add them to a word document and write descriptions underneath them .. convert it to PDF and upload .. there is a size limit, so just watch out for that - they do tell you this on the gckey ..
3. MPs? HA! i laugh because i have dealt with them and they are nothing but a waste of time .. don't stress yourself out as you are pregnant .. no one can expedite your case just cuz you are pregnant .. LVO doesn't care .. no one cares .. harsh reality but the truth!

I would have to agree on the pregnancy thing. I was 5 months pregnant when I applied for my husband’s sponsorship and we even explained it to them multiple times in our application but no one cares...
and here we are 1 year later, my son is almost 1 year old and our application is still in background check .

People assume you get bump in front of the line, but the officer do not give a fig or one iota about your situation they have to treat each case equally

They asked for marriage certificate from NADRas I have it with me but my problem how should I send it to them by air mail or upload online. Also pictures that I have sent to CIC they said it’s not enough so I am worried what should I do I don’t have pictures.
I don’t think they are asking for Nikkah nama.
Should I get this expedited through MP bcz I have him working with me.

Hello,

I applied for my husband's spousal sponsorship in July 2017 and our application is still in process. Our process started in London office on Aug 29, 2017.
On Aug 7, 2018, we received 2 emails, 1 for an updated IMM5669 form request and 1 pre-arrival email but background checks hasn't started yet and we don't have any other update yet. Any idea how long until my husband gets the visa?

Anyone else has the same outline here?

Well There are three reviews At LVO they do on your application, initial review, full review and final review by immigrantion Officer. So from the response you got it seems like it’s the first stage that your application is at for now. If you get lucky and your application is a straight forward case then you can hear some thing good in next couple of months otherwise it can take some time too

You get pre arrival services letter once the eligibility of principal applicant passes at london visa office and bgc has nothing to do with it, your background checks may start early in your application or sometime after pre arrival
