Hi guys, question here. I uploaded police certificate and travel history via CIC account, but it shows uploaded - not submitted to IRCC. Usually how long for them to submit to IRCC? Anyone has same situation?

Thanks for clarification. One thing more am I still responsible for my spouse ? Because it’s asking in financial evaluations(Question 3 B I )about previous undertaking which are still in effect. And again question 5 is about spouse.

Yes, you are responsible because she is your in dependent list and you don't need to put 1 in Question 3 B I... you just need to put 1 in Question 5

After uploading the docs - In the bottom of that page click on Next and then I think sign this by writing your name and click on submit(I think)

That’s unfortunate. I don’t have any idea why there is no option to upload! Try to call CIC call centre, very hard to get them, though.

I have received a reply from CIC stating

Your application does not meet the requirements for processing as the following item is missing or incomplete:

Principal Applicant is married, however the Dependent Spouse was not declared on the completed and signed Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008). This form is to be completed by the Principal Applicant and validated online with information for the Principal Applicant and all dependents, if applicable, whether accompanying or not.

I just wanted to know what all needs to be included so that I don't miss anything this time.

what does this mean

according to the guide persons above the mentioned age and not financially dependant on the principal applicant are not counted as dependents.

also does this mean they have checked all the documents ...and only after that they have sent the letter?

I am so confused. Please help.

Hi - there's no need to panic as this is only a mistake and your application hasn't been rejected at all.. All you need to do is to make sure this time you don't make any mistake.

This form is to be completed by the Principal Applicant and validated online with information for the Principal Applicant and all dependents, if applicable, whether accompanying or not.
Did you forget to fill your mother's details in form IMM0008 as she will come under your father as dependent because as CIC/IRCC indicated that your father is married.. .this means you need to fill your mother's details under the DEPENDENT(S)... (on PAGE 03)
Also, Are there any of your siblings dependent on your parents(father/mother) - if yes, you need to fill there details as well

Once you filled this complete form - you need to click on VALIDATE button which is on the top form or click on Validate on bottom of page and this shouldn't return any error if it does return error then correct that and try validate again(make it should says on top right corner Validated "YES") - and after validation(YES) this will generate another couple of pages in this form which contains only BARCODE boxes... pls ensure these are there too.

Usually I would b agree that they checked complete application package and if anything missing then they asked to provide these missing docs

Please don't confuse - just make sure this is correctly validated at the end... You should be fine
