When it comes to which parent should the PA and which parent should be dependent, what factors should we consider?

I know PR will need to fill more forms. Any additional supporting documents PA needs to submit, but dependent doesn’t?

Question to the spring applicants re travel form for parents IMM 5562.

Do parents have to report travels within their country of residence?

The insrtuctions in the guide are pretty clear: list all travels outside your country of origin or residence during 10 recent years. So I'm reading it as : if your parents were born and live let's say in France, list all trips outside of France. If they were born in France but during recent 10 years live in let's say Japan, list all trips outside of Japan.

However, the letter from IRCC requesting the form states "provide completed IMM 5562 including your current country of residence" . Do they want travels within the country of residence to be listed as well in this form?

Am I overthinking?

I got a question regarding filling up the IMM5562 form. It has been asked to fill up the last 10 years travel history including the country of residence.

I will quote exactly what it says in the letter "IMM5562 (Supplementary Information - Your Travels): Please provide a completed IMM5562 (Supplementary Information – Your Travels) including your current country of residence. This must be received at this office by: 2018/08/20".

So my question is do I need to update the travel inside the country also? or only outside of the country? Thanks in advance.

So I,m not the only one who is puzzled by this quiestion . I'm going to call IRCC on Monday to find out if they want only foreign trips in IMM5562 or domestic as well

Medicals passed: Aug 4th (I was yet to submit proof of medicals to CIC but status was already "You passed the medical exam." on myCIC)
Submitted PCC, proof of medicals, travel history, resume on Aug 4th..


It is awesome to know that folks have started receiving PPR!! This is supersonic speed!!

that sounds good let us know as soon as u receive any update on your applcation so we have an idea how long would it take from medical passed to ppr ,my parents received an instruction for medical already which we didnt expect that soon..

Need help in these:

1- Form number IMM5669 background and declaration schedule A... in the guideline it says that the spouse and all dependant children over 18 should fill it out... but inside the checklist form it says: the spouse and all children must fill it . I’m confused... my siblings are not dependent... should they fill the form?

2- about biometric fees: should we pay it along with paying for the main fees or later when they ask the biometrics?
