the following reply i received from cic when i asked for application status. i received following reply:
"Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.
Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.
We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. "

I received GCMS notes, in that it's mentioned "Paper file location: PS". What does it means.
My time line:
Application Received: 24-March-2017
AOR: 02-June-2017
Medical: 22-Dec-2017
Medical Done: 08-Jan-2018
Pre arrival message: 22-Feb-2018
PPR: Waiting
Can any one help me to understand this?

We have the same timeline. My application was received June 22. Did u email cic or they sent u their reply on their own??
Also i submitted RCMP certificate at the beginning, did u do the same thing?

Hi all - I have a question regarding passport expiry. I already obtained a CSQ and it was in progress of Federal Stage. The question is do i need to send my renewed passport copy to BOTH Quebec (MIDI) and Federal Office ??? If yes then how to do for each of them ??

I've the Similar situation. I called/emailed and got all the same responses.... I asked for GCMS notes along with CSIS update!..You can do the same!!!! But make sure you sent the RCMP doc before!!!!! Check in your GCMS notes whats going with your file then you will be sure if only the Security Screening is left!!!! Usually thats the last step!.. Lets wish goodluck to us.. I am already into my 23 months of processing time...

What did you do for prearrival services? I got the email today and in my status it says your action is required

You just need to send passport copy to federal. I did it through web form. Or contact cic for how to give an update on renewal of passport. they can tell you.Otherwise i dont think you need to give passport copy to MIDI.

Hi friends,
POF required for a family of 3 for Quebec is $5,150 thereabout. If one gets a CSQ and apply to the federal for PR, will one be required to provide the federal POF of $19,093? How does it really work?
Mine is EP too. Hopefully i will get my pr soon
