Good afternoon,

Does anyone knows when should I report I have a new baby? I'm pregant now and I received an invite to apply to sponsor my mother.
When I send my form on January I met the the minimum income needed (because I wasn't pregnant) but when my baby will be born, as that add a new person to my family I will not meet the minimal income required.
The situation is:
- In january 201 I met my requirements at that time with my 2017 incomes (without a baby)
- My incomes in 2018 are higher and I will meet the minimal income even adding my new baby
but the question is will they consider my incomes in 2017 but the size of my family in 2018 (baby will be born in september)?
I hope my explanation is clear.

you should report after baby will be born and need to meet LICO for
all years when your case is in process so you can add spouse like a co-signer

I wanted to confirm about parents sponsorship.. we got selection in the lot system yesterday and cic has asked to submit the documents by oct my matter of concern in the I do not meet the income requirements in the year 2015 as I got job after two months of entry but I have meet my income requirements for 2016,2017 and the current year 2018. Can you pls advice me if I am with get though the process

If you apply you will rejected anyways . Call is yours as you decided to even fill the lottery form where they clearly asked if you fulfill the income requirements and you probably said yes.

If you spouse can co-sign and the combined income meet the minimum for all the years 2015 - 2018, then your application is fine.

It doesn't matter how much you make now. They do not take average over the years...

if you own cant meet - thats not a problem? you can add a spouse like a co-signer for sure

I haven't received the email from CIC yet. Just found out my confirmation number on the list.

If you spouse can co-sign and the combined income meet the minimum for all the years 2015 - 2018, then your application is fine.

I wish there is an option to "PIN" (permanently placed) the most frequently asked questions on the top of the forum so we do not need to answer the same question again and again.

LICO rule is simple: meet the LICO for the past three consecutive years at the time of application. You can meet the LICO by having your spouse as co-signer if your income alone doesn't meet LICO.

I'm glad I got selected in my first try. Otherwise, I'd get real frustrated with people who send their notice of interest without checking if they are eligible to start with.

Anyhow, congrats to the people who got selected in the 2nd round!
