My application is still in IP1

Could you please provide applicant type - CEC/FSW-I/FSW-O(USA)/FSW-O(Non-US) as it will help others to benchmark, gauge their own progress and reply in helpful manner? Adding this info in your signature with timelines would definitely make this forum more efficient as most of the to and fro questions are around timeline and applicant type.

Btw I'm stuck at IP1 as well since 27/6 with Ottawa office.

your file was most likely transferred to a busy visa office and waiting for an Officer's review. explains the delay between IP1 and IP2

I can understand your concern especially being from USA as general trend is that they are quicker but I'm sure you are not alone. Hang on and as someone pointed that on occasions, status never change from IP1 to IP2 at all....and you still get golden email.

Just had a word with CIC agent and she told that I passed my medical on 18th July and currently my application is in Visa Office- Sydney, Canada.Does that mean that my application will be processed in Canada or will come to India?

It was too early to call tbh, meds being passed is shown in Portal itself and initially file sits at CIO and then distributed to LVO.

How many average days it takes to distribute files to LVO's ? As 14 days have already passed.

its still at the CIO, give them a call when you reach IP2, they will tell where your application is getting processed.

I got the how to get a job in Canada message on June 27. AOR June 3, MEP June 14 and IP1 June 15. No update since.
