Just curious, do we need photos a 3rd time? (the original process asked for 2, the landing interview they asked again for 2 but only took 1)
 
In case anyone's interested in timelines, I landed on 10 April. Got photo request around 23 May and they were delivered on 1 June.

PR card application was approved on 6 July and PR card arrived in Vancouver today. Relieved to be done and done with this process at last! Good luck everyone

I got the same reply from them.

Never had any communication from the, no photo request or update.

Was there special things happend during landing ? Did you got your SIN ?

I have already told you that I did apply paper based. I signed the consent form to get paper based application for SIN. What are u trying to ask??? I do have an existing SIN attached with work permit

ok if you applied sin by paper just keep track of it because my sin paper application got rejected and i didn't even know until i called them. Anyway Good luck

that’s messed up man. Should I go to service Canada and try to the SIN. IRCC told me today my file is validated and Pr card is processed. And service canada should have no problem with that. They ask me to go to service canada again to get the SIN. They saw on IRCC system I’m officially PR and IRCC received my landing copr already in the system

Since you already applied by paper application. you have to wait until they make a decision on it. Even if you go to service canada they say the same. I went to Serv canada after my paper application got rejected and got my sin right away

No issues. Got sin without issue.

It's just pr card that has gone into special processing.
