I have a question if you can help .
On my Oath invitation i have blank i need to fill it says { Group number } could someone tell me how to know that number ? Or are they gonna fill it ?

I got my GCMS note where following comment were mentioned.

Assessment for knowledge, Residence, Language - Not Started
Prohibition - Not Started
Criminality - In Progress
Location - Test Pending Clearance Tagged
File was updated on 2018/06/01.

I am in IP since Jan 28. Could anyone help me to understand what stage my application in looking into above status and when should i expect to get an invitation for test.

Hi Subansina,
I received my GCMS. I did the exam in May. My Criminality clearance was completed before my exam date and security clearance is still in process.
I assume IRCC (CIC) wait till RCMP sends them the criminality clearance before exam invitation. Just be patient. We all are in a waiting game.

Nothing has been started so far unfortunately; until the date the notes were generated.

Its been 8 months that I sent my application. If nothing has been started yet, I doubt my application will be finalize within a year.

I phoned IRCC and I finally was able to speak to an agent. He said I could contact the processing office (Calgary) and explain my situation but at the end it's up to them to reschedule the ceremony or not. I also asked him if I could apply for a passport right away but he said I need to wait 2 days before doing it. I will have to phone the passport office and gather more information about that.

When I took the test I wrote down the dates I was going to be travelling outside Canada. During the interview the officer that said to me "We will schedule your ceremony after you come back from holidays".. I don't know what happened there

Does anybody know or have successfully reschedule their citizenship ceremony before?. If so, could you share your experience with us? thank you.

Wow must just have been an oversight on their path risky to do oath and apply you might not get it in time. Does your second passport qualify for eta,

My wife had been stuck for the interview for her spousal pr. And I used to order the notes and they used to come blank just like this. The plus side in the notes is it was generated on the same day of your inquiry so it gives you LATEST info compared to a month old had it been generated a month ago. So even if you order new now, you may not be able to see much movement in file. I am sorry, but I would tell you truth and make you aware rather than to give false hope. Tc

You will be a citizen in the next 4 months.

November isnt here yet. My concern is police report. Its annoying and long process to get and all my old country want is tips. Lol @ old country when im not canadian yet

I am in the same boat. Sent them an e-mail stating my travel date and they replied that they will reschedule my oath after my return. I haven't received the new date but expecting it this week. My advise would be to send them an e-mail and let them know that you will be travelling.
