Can someone here let me know if you receive request to submit Police Clearance and Health Examination, does the status on ECAS (status for Permanent Resident Application) change to "In progress"?

how long does it take for parents to get PR in the new lottery system?

Unfortunately IRCC doesn't follow one timeline! The total processing time depends on lots of factors, country of residence of parents, assigned local visa office, additional documents request, medicals etc.

But overall processing time has gone down, lets hope everyone's application is processed quickly. Good Luck!

Hi everyone,
What is the number and options I should select when calling IRCC to reach a person to ask about my application for my parents? I tried several ways to link the paperwork online but couldn't search for my application.. My application was sent on May 14th, supposedly received on May 15th.

For my parent's application, I was able to link the paper application to My CIC right after seeing an update on ECAS, that happened two months after the receipt of the application.

Congrats, my application was received on May 01, but I haven't received the AOR yet, may be because I linked the paper application with My CIC account before the receipt of AOR, not sure if that's a correct assumption, I could be wrong.

Generally, as soon as we link the application then all correspondence gets uploaded over electronically, i tried linking the application but could not do so, perhaps we should give it another 3 days or so. I also noticed that they have truncated principal applicants name and used initials whereas i noted the name as stated on passport.
We are on our way ..yayyy

To sponsor the parents, one has to live in Canada for 3 years or it's just 3 income tax filled

Mine was April 30 and I have given them my SIN # and I don't have my AOR too..

I have linked my application since June 28th. However no AOR yet!
