thank you brother! honestly I am so frustrated with this whole waiting time .. it's been almost nine months since I have applied for my wife ...file got transferred to london visa offoce on january 23, 2018 .. and since then there is complete silence .. neither they ask for anything nor do they work on my file ... as it is I am alone here in Canada and waiting for her makes me really frustrated at times ... anyway thanks for your help
The frustration will get easier the sooner you stop expecting things from them. I'm a July applicant. It's been 12 months, the process exceeds the stated timeframe now so there's no point relying on things. I sent documents voluntarily as well which they never bothered acknowledging despite confirmation emails so even that really depends. Generally the officers love finding our mistakes but don't like doing their jobs correctly. Also, people will tell you a lot of different things but reality is they are unpredictable and can ask anything anytime. Until you get Decision made that is when you can actually chill out.
And the most frustrating thing is that we have no idea when they will open our file. It is super annoying now, don’t know what is happening some October applicants are getting decisions made and yet here we are waiting blindly.
It's very unpredictable. My advice to all of you is simply to stop expecting things and stop comparing your case to others as it really depends on every case and the officers handling it. There are several people with very straight forward cases that have exceeded the 12 months. It is better that you all anticipate the worst than best otherwise you'll be very disappointed/frustrated. At this point you all should pray not for the time but that they don't request documents or pfl concerns, interviews etc ..

I hope you get a DM from them as soon as possible and same for everyone here in this forum, insh'Allah. Did you get an interview or get your pre arrival letter? Is your background check in progress?
What is the status of your application?? Did you send them an email to LVO?
Last i emailed them a month ago my file was still awaiting full review. Notes also showed nothing started. Hopeless situation.

Thanks but I don't expect anything from them. I received additional document requests, submitted recently. Now waiting on a response to see what they determine. Hard to say what they do next, if I'm lucky then pre arrival otherwise interview possibly, let see

Submitted that end of June, now waiting on what they say. Such an irritating process
this is what I got for my husband's file status today:
"Thank you for your e-mail. In response to your enquiry please be advised that additional review is required on the application and you/your spouse will be contacted within the next 3 months regarding any further requirements."
WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!! it's already on 12 months, and they are saying another 3 months!!! Bullshit in LVO

http://allinoneservices.ca/ This is the website for my Lawyer. His name is Tamby.
For those still making negative comments about (My lawyer might have sources or sendin 900 pictures is a lot)
I honestly do not care to even know...about any of this. And once your process is done you wont give a crap either lol...how it happened...who looked at the file and what not.
All I know is my package was very detailed and everything was included. I never see a package like mine here on the internet. People are always making mistakes or asking really simple questions, which makes sense cause not everyone has a Lawyer.
Thank you for your feedback about the whole process. You mentioned you were sending updates to them via email about your communications, so was it you sending it directly or was it via your lawyer since I have a lawyer too so that's why clarifying.
Hey good morning my wife is a july applicant too, i was wondering if i can send an email to canadian imigration minister ?
I’m really confused about something. When does the 1 year of the application start from ?
I thought when you send your application to mississauga and they receive it ?
Or does the 1 year begin when the London visa office starts processing your application ?
My lawyer said the 1 year begins from the month when LVO begins processing the case
