I'm on IP1 .
Medicals cleared on May 9th.
When can I expect a progress in my status ?

I did. They didn't disclose anymore information.

They told me not to worry and my bgc is in process.

I called CIC on June 26th and they said my application was approved on June 05, 2018 and advised me to wait for the correspondence. Can I know how long I should wait before I receive PPR?

I had file approved and ppr the same day. You can contact CPC Ottawa search google their email and ask if they ever sent you ready for visa email

They didn't tell me anything.
But the system says that I don't need any fingerprint.
So my guess is I should've cleared them.

You should have asked those 2 questions imho
regarding Biometrics/fingerprinting, it is a standard msg that appears on most applicants status...

I asked them if they can give me more insight on my application.
They told me that I can apply for the notes if I wanted more insight.
However, I'll wait for a week and then call them for the update.

I think you should go for CSE n enquire about it ...
