My husband got his passport back!
I sent them an email saying that our wedding anniversary is in June 28 and that we’re also expecting a baby. (Both are true) They dispatched his passport in less than 8 hrs.

@gobiy Unfortunately, due to the postal strike in Sri Lanka, I haven't received by PCC yet. I'm planing to go to the Police Headquarters on Monday to see what can be done

Oh congrats. your eligibility done? If so you are on the way to PP request. Bcz background check won't take long time.

nope, it says "Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" since the file transferred to Colombo. but somehow they requested medical.. Btw why does ur application take so long? even if it falls to the old category, one of our cousin got his visa in 8 months 5 years ago.
