hey, I'm confused. So you mean we don't get medical until we pass the criminal check ?
Because in my GCMS notes i passed my Medical on April 6, 2018 and Criminality on April 25, 2018.

Is it "passed" or "updated" They might have updated your criminality status on 25th April but your criminality report would have been received by IRCC before you received a medical request.

It's passed on 25th April.

How soon after receiving the AOR do you think it's worth to apply for GCMS notes? And will it state in detail what is the status of your application? I.e. medical passed, criminality passed, security passed, pre-arrival etc... ?

It will state everything except for security.

I don't know then. As far as I know, MR are not sent unless criminality is cleared. Therefore, some people get their MR's early and some people get it late.

Even if you do an upfront medicals, it won't change to "Pass" until your criminality is cleared.

2. Also what does the following status mean "We have received the additional documents you provided." is it that the submitted documents are accepted or are the reviewing it?

1: It is totally normal, or maybe the letter is just not sent yet.
2: They have received it, but not reviewing it. Once they start to view your additional file, the status will be we are reviewing the additional files you provided.

As of 2nd May according to my gnote, my criminality was still in progress but I passed the medical exam on 19th Apr. I got pre arrival letter on 14th Mar.
It's clear receiving pre arrival lletter would be after passing the eligibility but I'm not sure about the criminality.
