I checked with my institution and they said that they have not received any email from WES Not sure, how to sort this out. I will try contacting customer care, if they can tell me on which email id they have contacted the institution.

Any suggestion??

I got hold of WES and they told me that they have send normal post and email to my institute. My institute told me that they have not received any email from WES as of now. I will call them once they open today to check on which email id they have sent the mail. This is so frustrating - I was expecting to get in the pool and hopefully get an ITA soon. And now I am stuck.

My evaluation was due on 8 th June and today I checked the status and it shows that status is "on hold" and they have asked for verification from institution. I was expecting to get into the pool soon and now I got this. I called them as well and the customer rep told me the same thing.

Buddy I need to call them as well. Can you please share their number? I only see the contact us web form which they take two weeks to respond!

I called them on +1-416 972 0070 . You also facing the same issue of status on hold?

I've faced the exact same issue yesterday. Though my status was still "In Progress" as they had received my documents on 28th May. Now yesterday, they've changed the status to "On Hold" and sent me an email as well stating "This is to advise you that photocopies of your documents have been sent to Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata for verification and that your file has been placed on hold until we receive their written response."
I just talked to the concerned person at my institute and he said he hasn't received anything yet. I now feel WES is doing this as a deliberate ploy to delay the process! Any seniors here who have faced the same issue earlier and can tell how much time does it typically take to resolve this?
Also, have any of you who called got to know any specific reason for this additional verification? I'll try to call them when they open office today.

Wow. This looks like some bug or something? So many cases and all happening at around same time. In my case its IIM Bangalore - I spoke to my college and as per them in last 2 years they have never got any such request.

I had seen on threads that WES sometimes create issues with Tier-3 or 4 B-schools in India. But didn't hear ever creating issues for IIMs :O
The person at PGP office in IIM Calcutta was suggesting that it may have happened as I sent the transcript envelope instead of institute sending directly. But even that cannot be the case as my B.E transcripts which I sent in the same bigger envelope got duly accepted!
In your case, it is even more strange as the documents had already got accepted.

https://www.wes.org/ca/eca/ Just scroll down and WES customer service number is mentioned . It took like 1 min to get hold of customer service rep yesterday. Let us know how your conversation goes with them.

No my issue is that the report was due on 7 June and still no update

So sad even after paying CAD 200 for their service. It's like they're doing a charity
In your case, did IIMB send the transcripts directly or did you send them? Trying to find any pattern
