Hello, is there anybody waiting for placement at Mount Royal? Maybe we can cooperate with each other and ask CARNA to allow Grant MacEwan to offer their bridging course to us. Please kindly send me a message if you are interested.
It is completely revamped http://rncompetencies.ca/ for IEN to fill up the competency gaps. It SEEMS after completing this 2 year online baccalaureate level course you are eligible for CNO RN license.
I’m a newbie here.
Anyone who’s taking some course from
Athabasca or St.Xavier universiry for competency Gaps?
Please share with me.
Thanks in advance
About me;
I had the osce test in Jan and need to fulfill some gaps.
However all schools replied me back
´no gurantee’.
Now i am going back to my country to update out of nursing practice.( my nursing practice has expired last year)
In addition, i will take courses from St.Xavier uni from Sep.
I can’t imagine how hard each course is going to be.
Hope to go through really smoothly and get registration next year.

8 weeks minimum. And they might ask you to provide job description information and past work history information before they decide you need to do OSCE. If/when they do tell you to do OSCE, it can take some time to register for it. There are more people wanting to do OSCE than there are spaces, so I'd advise you to register for OSCE as soon as you can, once CNO tells you that you can. They only open registration a few times per year so check their website often.
