One other question and dont know whether you have the answer, Got a generic letter for documents yesterday including PCC.However, the letter was addressed only for my dad who is the principal applicant and had no mention of my mother's PCC ..They are going to try for both though..any thoughts?

It looks like this is just a generic email and was sent to everyone… that doesn’t mean that officer would need this form to make decision on application.

Reason why I'm saying this as this might open more problems for no reason… My parents travelled a lot in last ten years…. What you guys are thinking?

They also gave us 30 days... In Russia to get PCC takes 30 days and also we need to translate it

One question 'it says to submit in 30 days', but in my country/city it takes more than 30 days to book appointment for PCC application and then few days for processing. Anyone in same situation or thoughts.?

check your police certificate, there is a number on it. But if you got wrong number, it probably is ok too as they will see the document themselves anyway.

I received the letter today like everyone else.
My mother was was in Canada in for 3 years on Supervisa.
Do I need to get PCC from Canada.
If yes,any idea what the process is?

Yes! It’s Agent DL. I got the death certificate today and faxed a copy. Within an hour, I received a email that I met the sponsorship eligibility requirement and that the application has been forwarded to my mom’s country of residence. Any updates on yours?

Yes! It’s Agent DL. I got the death certificate today and faxed a copy. Within an hour, I received a email that I met the sponsorship eligibility requirement and that the application has been forwarded to my mom’s country of residence. Any updates on yours?

No updates, My in laws applied for the Death Certificate in India (Punjab) and was told they will get it with 15 to 20 days.

How come you got the death certificate so fast?

I guess it depends on your country. Once the hospital verifies that they have it in their records and the government, it takes a day to get replacement certificate.
