Recd ottawa email asking for pcc in 30days. I need help please.
1. My mother stays in kolkata.
2. Following the cic link - 2 ways to apply - register online and wait for appointment date. Or apply at local police stn.

My qs:
1. Should she submit form to local police stn or should i register her details online?
2. Any idea how long the process will take?
3. What are the steps, please?
4. Is it only a stamp in pp or do they give a doc?
5. If doc then is its photocopy to be submitted within 30days?

I also received same email today ... quite strange... I believe we already filled form eIMM5669e and that have all background information they need

Hi Yulia,

I got email from ottawa requesting some documents including PCC.

The question i want to ask you is do you think we passed medical that’s why we got this request or still we dont know status of medical.

I think passed, they ask docs

Second question is they asked for marriage certificate, travel history, employment history, passport copy and PCC - is it for primary applicant or for both parents?
for both for sure

For marriage certificate we submitted affidavit with application you think we can use same affidavit or we need to get new affidavit made?

Something wrong somewhere, to my surprise i also received request for additional documents yesterday as follows:

1. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION REQUEST FOR STUDENTS
2. Supplementary Information - Your travels
3. CV/Resume
4. Schedule A
5. Police Certificate

All required to be uploaded by 4th of July, 2018

I am really confused and fail to understand what are they really wanting ? We are grandparents applied under family class, and not for student visa. We have neither applied under express entry seeking job - so what kind of CV/Resume do they want ? Schedule A documents (complete background information) was submitted in the original application package in the prescribed forms at that time. PCC requirement is understandable which we have applied for and will submit in due course.

We have already completed our medicals and passed. Also received an email for pre-arrival service. Our LVO is Ottawa.

Has anyone else received such requests? If yes how are you handling this.

Does anyone have phone number for LVO-Ottawa, any suggestions are welcome....

I got the email as well... my parents medical was done on 31st May. Does this email mean that the medicals are clear?

Yes, we got an email as well with Sponsor’s Birth Certificate, Proof of Marital Status, Police Certificate, Employment History and etc.

My status for parents medical says Passed since more than 2 months and background status is saying we will send you message once we start back ground check. Can someone let me know how long it takes to complete background check after medical passed? thanks

I just checked my parents ecas and it doesn't say anything about medicals...where can I find it?

For the travel history form, does it require history for the last 10 years or since 18 years old? Thanks
