I heard that if it’s from BC it might take 2 months but for IDP they can give out the results after a week or two. Yeah, it’s very quick. I’ve read in this thread that the result was released after 2 days. They should’ve sent it to UK because we paid. i lost your email, just email me here july1weena@gmail.com

Really it's hard to understand the IELTS system, everyone has 1 module with less score... I have sent u an email..

Hi all I think I have decided on getting an EOR for my writing module, my current result is as follows:

B:9 R:8.5 W:7.0 S:8.5 CLB9

I missed CLB10 just by 0.5 which is very unfortunate and hence looking to evaluate my score. I gave my test on April 7th and got the result on April 23rd. Since I just have 2 more weeks before my ability to do an EOR expires, I decided to go for the evaluation. Do any of you have an idea of the average time it takes to get a result after an EOR from the US? I gave my exam in ELC in LA so was wondering if anyone else has any experience with them. Kind of sad that I missed it by a hair and have to go through all this but hey I am hopeful and keeping a positive outlook.

Pls let me know your CRS SCORE at present
TEST by BC or IDP
Actually in US is a faster process of EOR. It might take hardly 2 to 3 weeks times to get remarked.

Hey my score is in the signature, it's 438. I don't know if it was IDP or BC, when I registered they had IDP,BC and Cambridge in it so don't know how to find the specific one. So remark in the US is about 3 weeks? That's good to know

But u can't use current TRF, once u applied for the EOR. Firstly confirm your test council and submitted it asap

Same here . I had taken it on 24 March , but from British council.
Applied EOR on16 April.
Got a message saying 12 to 14 weeks.
Any idea why so much of time?

A friend of mine also applied for an EOR from mexico, from the same testing center and date.

His results

R 9
L 9
W 6!
S 8.5

I’ll let you know how that goes as well.

It's my fifth attempt and I got

L:8
R:7
W:6
S:7.5

I was very confident with my writing .
I gave it with IDP .

Please please do advice if there have been instances where there is 1 band jump in EOR/ revaluation

Hi All,
Need advice whether I should go for EoR.

1 Attempt: R7 W6.5 L8 S8 In USA May'17
2 Attempt: R9 W7.5 L7.5 S8.5 In USA July'17
3 Attempt: R7.5 W6.5 L8 S7 India Gurgaon IDP. May'18

Looks like there is an organised loot taking place and a mafia behind the whole testing system . I believe they deliberately take 0.5 out of 'perfect score' to make some more money. I am amazed that when Americans tested my English they gave 8 and 8.5 in speaking but for Indians my spoken English is not worth 7 points.... No wonder everyone wants to leave this country :

Anyways, should i go for EoR for my writing module or not, how worthy it will be.

in my opinion dont go for reval. You need a jump of 0.5-1.0 in two modules.

Hey guys!

I've just received an email from BC saying my scores in Speaking and Writing were changed! However, they say I have to wait the new TRF to know my new scores since are not allowed to give me these details.

Considering that my score in both skills were 6.5, Can I assume that at least they are now 7.0 each??
Because as far as I know they cannot reduce marks, right? Or they can?

Edit PS: They also send me a form for refund
