Is it advisable to apply for visitors visa for my wife before I put the file for her sponsorship?
Considering it takes almost a year now for the application to process.
Will it be any issues with the sponsorship application if her visitors visa may be rejected for any reason?
Please provide me suggestions, really confused right now.

You should ist apply for pr then trv..
Becoz now trv process also taking long to give decision that may delay pr by not applying soon..
My visitor visa got rejected twice and now hopes are on my pr..
Question: After we get PPR it sounds like we use VFS to submit our passport and we need to submit the passport to the nearest Canada Visa Application Centre (CVAC). There is no CVAC located in Afghanistan, so does anybody know where afghan residents need to drop off their passports to?
Here’s my timeline:
App recd: June 6
AOR1: July 7
Sponsor approval: July 11
AOR2: Aug 8
Prearrival: May 11
Waiting for DM and PPR
Also we applied for GCMS notes on April 1st and never received anything (had no problem with this 2 other times I requested the notes). So I emailed ATIP to follow up after 31 days and still haven’t received anything. Has anybody experienced this?

This is a tricky question. Applied for TRV before PR and rejected. In my opinion, TRV could be done first. However forum members may have better suggestion.
Good luck!
