When did you submit your application?
Our application was received by cic on 26th Feb, got acknowledgment in second week of April. They requested medical,PCC&Schedule A. The file hasn’t been transferred yet.
Are they following two different procedures? For some transferring the file first and for some requesting medical first?

Application received:2017/11/14. Schedule A form received:2018/02/16. File transfer to LVO:2018/03/01. QSCreceived:2018/04/30

Hi everyone,

My husband who is the applicant in Pakistan went to apply for Police Character Certificate (PCC) at Islamabad Police Station but they denied and asked him to get it from Abbottabad. The permanent and residential address on his CNIC are Abbottabad's address where his family home is, but he spent the last 10 years of his life in Islamabad and a few in Lahore.

My question is what should he do in such situation? I was thinking maybe he should take some electricity bills in his name (his apartment is in Islamabad) and company's registration certificate (since his business is registered in Islamabad) to the Police station in Islamabad and ask them to reconsider his case.

Please suggest!

First he need police certificate from home city and he took his certificate along with proof of residence in Islamabad to chief commissioner office Islamabad where he can apply his pcc for Islamabad

I just received an email stating my file has been received by cic on april 6 2018. If i log in it shows in process. Does that mean its been approved? Or they can still return it if any missing document. Thanks

When you receive an email with an acknowledgement letter that means the file is complete and accepted. They will otherwise either return the application to you or would have requested additional documents. Now just link your application to your online account and wait (unfortunately, a long time)

Ya I know I was too at that time. Initially they'll ask you for schedule A, police report (if you didn't already submit it that is) and then medical. File will be transferred and then dead silence.

I know. I received this email so late..Now ill submit the police report with application number for they ask. Saves time.

3 years age gap no common name .. absolutely nothing .. and they haven’t asked for any further documents .. all my gckey says is we are reviewing wether you meet the eligibility requirements ..and we will message you once background starts
