My guess is that it's a different department who deals with GCMS notes. Not the actual officer who is working on the file.

Fair point but I still can't see how it stalls or delays the application process. If a different department deals with it, it should absolutely have no impact on the application process.

I think I have the most bad luck! I applied PR after AINP in March 2017 and until now no Medical request!
I also applied Depress Entry in July 2017 and again until nothing!
Looks like they just don't want me here

I received a letter asking for police certificate from my home country. I sent the document via Canada Post. The tracking shows that the document has been delivered on Monday but my online status is still the same (asking me to upload my police certificate). Getting a lil worried here...

Apparently, you need to upload it from your CIC account, maybe someone could shed some light.

Hey, I did the same thing as you. My mail was delivered late last month, but still no update online. I called them and they said as long as you have the tracking info, there shouldn't be any problem.

i choose immigration/citizenship records (i see in online they are choosing case file which i don't see in drop down)


What type of record would you like to request?
- Permanent Residence

*Which specific information are you looking for?
Did you know that IRCC can easily obtain the electronic notes of the immigration or citizenship officer(s)? It can result in a faster response to your request.

a. status update of file/ reasons for refusal/officers electronic notes ( why is it showing me this option as opposed to "electronic notes of immigration officer" or is it normal for everyone i am kind of freaked out why i am getting that option in the drop down )
b. application, supporting documents and correspondence sent to and from IRCC

please guys i really appreciate response.
