Hi I am new here. I did my RN in 2008 from India .Right now I am working as an LPN in Canada. I s it ok to apply to NNAS for RN assessment? Please advise..
Thank you
Yes it is definitely okay to do so.
For everyone's reference especially the new ones here, can anyone please share a guideline or rough process in applying to be a Nurse in Canada?Or where is the information available?
Also hopefully for the terms:
ARNAP
CARNA
IENCAP
OSCE
Thank you very much.
Everythinf starts with NNAS before anything else. Have your education assessed by them and go from there.
I am just curious about the NNAS status - my report shows that all the documents meet requirements and has been on that status for a week. Does anyone know how much longer the process takes at this stage? I am waiting for response from NNAS - Any ideas on timeline at this point?
Approximately 8 weeks

Hi , I am writing OSCE on 20 feb 2018. Can you suggest any study material?
Hi Jane, have you gotten your OSCE results back uet?
Has anyone applied to Alberta, just want to know whats the process like and waiting times ect
I have and currently awaiting result from CARNA post taking OSCE. CARNA is pretty much on time. After receiving NNAS results, took them 3 mos to tell me to take OSCE. Then 2 mos to decide after they received OSCE report.
Hey does any one knows how it takes for NNAS to evaluate all documents?
After all documents are received and verified or authenticated, about 8 weeks to receive the Advisory Report
Hello, does anyone knows how long it takes for NNAS to evaluate all documents and then send the Advisory Report. My current status at NNAS says Ready For Evaluation
8 weeks max, usually.
Finally got IENCAP result today. I could not make up as I scored 3.16 out of required 3.5
.... Now back to school !!!
So sorry to hear that. Do you mind sharing where you got your Nursing degree? Thanks

Para lang sana hndi magasto.. thank you in advance!
Kailangan po original ang signatures.
The response from the regulatory body takes about 8 weeks. But this person will be waiting much longer than that for their Advisory Report from NNAS.
Most wait a lot longer than 8 weeks. Most wait between 4-12 months.

That is if there are addtl documents needed or there discrepancies in the documents provided. Mine came out exactly 8 weeks after it said Ready for Review. Guess I was fortunate enough.
