I received Ghost Update Today, all the parameters are same as before the Ghost Update,
timeline below:

ITA : 10th January 2017 (PNP)
Medical Passed : 23rd January 2017
Criminality Passed : 23rd January 2017
ADR (Landing Fee) : 9th May 2017
SS start: 9th May 2017

Medicals already expired on 3rd of January 2018

Congrats and that was a long journey. You were in SS, can we please know what causes that? Actually I have heard that when you have done lots of travel or you are related to any Govt job or Military job then you are selected for SS. Can we please know about your case to predict about us?

I don't know what triggered it. I was in UK for 5 years studying and working. I never worked in Government or Military. No extensive travel history. I went to Kish Island in Iran once for Visa Change for UAE employer and that's it.

I usually check my application everyday. the update was not their yesterday. This happened today

I saw a ghost update Wednesday last week. Up until now no mail(inbox and spam) from CIC. I am Nov 3 AOR FSWO. I am getting worried. I hope there is no problem with my app. I just can't help the anxiety. I am going nuts checking my mail like all the time since Thursday. Pls advice

Nothing is wrong with your application. Ghost update can mean a lot of things from eligibility passed to PPR soon. I am in same situation, waiting for the last 10 days already. It will come, just don’t over stress yourself.

Ok so you don't actually get recent updates.

They will open new batches on 24th May and onwards and before that, they have to complete August September AOR and 80% of Oct AOR.

Thanks for the info. I am going to forget about the application for some weeks now. And hope I am not in SS. may be in 1st week of May we can send another email to ask for the status. (GCMS ordered last week and 1st follow up email was in 1st week of April to which they replied awaiting review by officer)

I just received Medical request from London Office at exact 9:03 London Time.
I already booked the medical for tomorrow

CBSA notes showed me the dates on which I was put in SS, nothing new, same old notes which were generated 8 months ago when I requested IRCC notes
