Just checked my husband's ECAS: "We sent you a notice on April 19, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 8, 2018 at 10:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment." (The notice has not yet been received.) Apparently, my husband does not check his email. The notice was sent yesterday, but he did not look.
I will be gathering his documents for his interview.
As he was over 54 at the time of his application, he does not have to write the test (as confirmed by an agent on the phone).
I submitted a request for my notes yesterday since it's been past the 60 days of inactivity on my file, might shed some light on to the differences between the Vancouver and Surrey offices processing. Now I guess it's a race to see what comes first, test invite or notes.

Thanks. I really am! I gathered and prepared all his documents for his PR and Citizenship, including making arrangements for medical check, fingerprinting, police clearance certificates, etc. All he had to do was sign the documents and show up for his appointments.
