Hi there! I just submitted my application - does anyone else get super nervous that they've managed to miss something, even though they've checked and re-checked (and re-checked) before mailing?! I'm feeling very vomit-y! Eek! (I also just saw that someone posted that they forgot to write their names on their photos - I did too, crap crap crap! London Drugs put a post-it note over the stamped part (I assume to keep it from smearing on the other photo?) and I didn't remove it...totally forgot to sign them! Hopefully that's not a huge problem! )

AOR is Acknowledgment of Receipt through email (If you have provided on the Application Form) or through snail mail.

After you get AOR (typically the next day), you can check you application status online (ECAS) https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html
Initially, the Application will be shown as "Application Received" and when the file is transferred to the local VO will be shown as "In Process".
