Thank you, did you use same application number on AOR to link your OWP? I used "LastName, FirstName, DOB" and " LastName, UCI number", but none of them work.
No, I think I only used my UCI, name and passport information. It was the different number started with W for owp when you successfully linked. Was there a birth place? I remember that part easily got wrong, just try uppercase, lowercase letters, city, province, or state.

Yes, it will be better after a few days, just like what I did before. I successfully linked after three or four days, cause the website mentions that cic might not input applicant's information at the same time when he has applied several applications.
Application with OWP received by CIC: March 12, 2018 at around 1PM PST AOR received: April 10, 2018 at around 2PM PST
I haven't tried linking yet as I'm at work now but hopefully it'll go over well For anyone that's still waiting for theirs, the email will come from [email protected] and the sponsor will receive the email.
Hello All,
I had a rejection for my spouse on outland application because I did not had enough paper for divorce from my ex. Which apparently i found out after i got asked about it during my spousal application. My first marriage was in India and i did not did any application for PR for my ex.
Now after rejection I applied inland as my wife was on TRV(luckily) after 8 months (it took that long to get proper document back home unfortunately) in Oct/2018 after remarrying here. wondering if it will be alright this time that we married again after i got divorce properly as per law back home.
any thoughts?
Request for police certificate and schedule A required.
Heres our journey thus far:
PR and OWP application received: Feb 1st 2018
Entire Application Returned: Feb 28 2018 due to being incomplete missing signature on a form.
Application thought was lost but arrived in Mail sent to a town 400km away and another persons folder with CIC stamp included by mistake: March 13 2018
Full Application sent back recieved: March 14 2018
This is in the letter Do I the sponsor need to submit a police certificate as well? I am born and raised in Canada.
My wife the prinicipal applicant is from India we did get her police certificate from india last week. Does she need to also get a canadian police certificate as well?? Shes lived here since 2013.
At this time, you need to provide a police certificate for:
1) The country where you currently live, if you have lived there for six months or more;
and
2) The country where you have spent most of your adult life since the age of 1 8.
You must also provide this for every family member (whether accompanying you to Canada or
not) who is aged 18 0r older. Please refer to your application guide for a definition of "family
member". This must be received at this office by: 201 8/05/18

Just got a notification that my wife's OWP application eligibility is being checked. Resubmitted to Vegreville Jan 22, 2018. Hopefully we will get approval today or tomorrow.
My name is Marine.
I created an account in July 2017 but this is my first time posting.
After reading everyone stories, i felt the need to share mine. It feels good and reassuring to know that we're not alone.
I am from France and after 1 year of long distance relationship i moved to Canada, to be with my canadian boyfriend, in September 2015, first as a tourist and then i got an open work permit (IEC) in 2016.
My work permit is good until September 2018 so i didn't apply for an other one yet (i might still do it in may/june just in case i don't have the permanent residence before the end of my IEC).
We sent an application for a permanent residence through the common law sponsorship in September 2017.
This is what happened so far:
September 26, 2017 : CIC received my application November 27, 2017 : AOR 1 November 28, 2017 : AOR 2 November 28, 2017 : application linked to my account November 28, 2017 : Request for Schedule A and Police certificates December 8, 2017 : Sent Schedule A and Police certificates
Nothing else since that day. It feels so long, hopefully i hear from them soon.
Good luck to everyone waiting. It's stressful but it is worth it.

Hi there, could I know about your timeline? So did you resubmit your wife's OWP online or paper? CIC received mine on Jan 17 2018, but it was my first time to send, not resubmit. I'm still waiting for the notification.
That discrepancy can be explained by the office that is processing the application. If the OWP application was returned or sent after the PR application was filed, it is sent to vegreville office while if you send the OWP with the PR application and you filed them corrctly, then they are processed by the Mississauga office. From what we know, vegreville office processing is faster than Mississauga by 2-3 weeks.
OIC, that's why your wife's OWP approved earlier than ours. But if count the days for returning and resending, you have waited for more than one or two months than the normal processing time. However, congratulation again got the final approval!
