a years of stressed and worries...now, i finally received the most awaited message from CIC. PPR request yesterday. Glory to God. thank you to all members especially to Rossei. goodluck to all whose still waiting.

Hello everyone

Finally after 2 years and 2 months, I finally received the PPR for my mother on Feb 23.
I sent the passport to Ottawa since my mother lives in Canada with me on a supervisa.
We sent it on Feb 24 and received the stamped PP and COPR on Mar 8.
We completed the landing procedure by flagpoling to the US (Rainbow bridge Niagara falls) on Mar 13 !!!!

Thanks to everyone here for the guidance and support.
Wishing and praying for all of you who are waiting for the visas that God may grant your wishes and you receive the visas soon!!!

Hi I applied for my parents on Jan 2016. March 2017 received a letter that application transferred to Ottawa visa office. No update since then. Anybody have a similar situation.

Congratulations proulx.Let us know your copr expiry date as it is important to me.My first medical date and last medical date is almost similar to you.I am eager to know what date they consider for medical expiry.Thank you.

It may have been discussed on this forum:

Basically my parents re-medical was done on 7feb2018 and until now we have not received PPR. I enquired from cic and they said that my fathers security is in process that is why it is delaying and there is no ETA.

My parents already have visit visa and they want to visit me as there is no ETA for PPR.

My question is if they are come here and we receive PPR while they are here then what will happen??

Do we need to inform cic before coming here???

I dont think so. I read somewhere that the officers will only allow flagpoling from Tuesday - Thursday. I am not sure though.

No need to inform CIC. Once you will receive PPR, you have option to send passport to local VO or VO-Ottawa.

Visa office (ottawa) asked us to send my mom's RCMP certificate(she stayed in canada more than 6 month) and travel history and my dad's travel history. All document sent to VO in Feb.

Both parents medical was done on Feb 2017 but they only asked my dad to re-do the medical.. and he did that in Feb 2018.

I havent heard anythinf from the VO yet.. should I ask them if my mom needs to re-do her medical as well?

And what is the best way to contact them? Call or email?

Hi Hogujak! If you want to ask them fill up the WEBForm and they will reply you within 28 working days.Another option is EMail your LVO which processes your file.

As I have said earlier I have requested to add my younger daughter to my file I received a letter from CPC,Mississauga dt.March07 on March13 to send 1)CAD150/- processing fee(2)IMM1344(3)IMM0008(4)IMM5669(5)IMM5669(6)IMM5406 (7) Proof of Medical Examination by Child (8)Pcc from India and Canada and her documents like Passport,Birth Certificate etc before April 05. I have everything except PCC from India.Will submit on receiving all the documents. This is for information of all my Forum Members. May GOD bless us all.
