Do you check ecas for both the sponsor and PA? Or is ecas meant for sponsor?
If so, when I checked the PA (USA) it is also asking for an address update but it is stuck on the default Canada and won't let me change it to US...bizarre. I think I will just leave it for a bit to see if it is glitch in the system.
My wife (PA) checked her ecas and the same thing, so does it need to be filled out or not as we havent moved or anything. I guess theyre just making sure all the addresses they have on file are correct?
I just logged in to my husbands (sponsor) ECAS and it showed the same thing about entering his current address. Then I logged out and logged in again and it was gone, no requests for entering his current address and everything looked just the way it looked before. Weird.
Sounds like a glitch? Though it's still asking to update the address on both mine and my wifes side, so I guess we just fill it out, the details will be exactly the same though what do I put for 'date new address is effective' seeing as its not a new address?

I would have gave them a call before doing anything, just to confirm if your action was really required. To me it seems more of a glitch because it showed up for me once and next time I logged in it disappeared.

Oooooohh I see the problem, it's a google glitch ....search for ecas and the first result is the coa (change of address) link and not just the plain one for logging in (as above and the 2nd result on google). Happy didn't change anything now!
