Photo delivered - Feb 19
PR card approved - March 1

Is it safe to assume the card will be received within a week or so?

Same day March 1, IRCC emailed me to disregard that photo request email and the card is now being produced.
Good thing it won't take very long.

Hi Guys..

Need some guidance here on my case.

Me and my wife landed at Toronto Pearson Airport - 25th Jan, 2018.
I gave my colleagues address who stays in canada during our landing for the PR card.
We returned back to India on - 1st Feb, 2018.

I received an email hour back for new photos - 07th March, 2018.

I have only received the email till now, and there has been no update/email for my wife's application.
I am currently in India. How do I send them the photographs ? Courier(Fedex) ? or Govt. post ?
Is it fine, if I send them the photos from outside canada ? Please help with your experience and suggestions.

I called this morning and the agent said they are working on photo retakes received February 16. That seems too good to be true?!

I was told the same today (March 7th) , that they are working on pictures that were received on February 16, which seems a little bit odd to be honest

Sometimes (most times) they don’t provide accurate info. Try to follow this thread to get a better idea of processing timelines.

even in same provinve it took 4/5 days
they should use express post and we can pay on delivery
