Dear Senior Please advise me....
My birth place and permanent address as per my CNIC is Gujranwala but i am doing job in Lahore from 2010 to till date and every weekend (Saturday,Sunday) i travel to Gujranwala, only week days i stay in Lahore on a rental address .....my question is that do i need to get police character certificate from both districts or one is enough.? i already get police character certificate from district Gujranwala..do i need to get certificate from Lahore district also? Thanks

Yes you have to get it from Lahore as well, take a photocopy of Gujranwala police certificate as well and apply from Lahore they will give you certificate from 2010 to till date.

No one certificate for one country... I read it somewhere when I was applying for my wife in sept 2017... we did not know in 2013 so I submitted for 3 cities at that time...

For Pakistan, it is per city as we dont have a federal body like FBI who gives police certificate for the whole country so we have to get police certificate frok individual cities.

Finally reached Karachi on Mon Mar 5th and with my wife now for 3 weeks. At least this 2nd time visit to her give both of us some relief

can you share what kind of questions were asked so anyone who has an interview can benefit from this.

Admin, very basic questions. I went along but only my husband was interviewed for 10 mins or so. My husband did not even study any questions.. as everyone say if the cases are GENUINE, dont think too much. Just know all the basic info about ur spouse.. education, job, how marriage happened, future plans etc. Stay as normal and things go smooth.
And 1 last tip for future interview waiting people: Have ur additional docs all complete and organized. They take it right when u reach the reception and then study it on their own and then call u. But visa on spot for everyone now, thats sucha relief.

I booked my seat with PIA one week before of my departure date so i had to pay $1815.
But with Ittihaad i was getting $1375 for same departure date but it was around 22 hrs travel with two connecting flights which can easily go to 24 hrs ore more if any flight got delayed so i decided to save time and pay more and i reached karachi in just 13 hours like this i saved 11 hrs
PIA finally changed its seats cover with new one and their service was excellent and staff was so courteous and polite.

Urgent Help !!!!

My friend, she's getting married in Karachi in July. She is a permanent resident at the moment and has already applied for Citizenship and waiting for the letter. She will be sponsoring her husband (who live in Dubai, Pakistani ). She has few questions

1. After getting married, In Pakistan, is it compulsory to change the Bride name?
2. Does she has to make a new CINC with the husband name instead of father name (Like "Daughter of " its "Wife of" )
3. If she has to change the CINC, does she have to apply for a NEW passport with her husband name too
   
4. For sponsoring, her husband, does she has to be physically be in Canada, or she can do it from Dubai, and just show the intent that they will move to Canada later.
5. if she has to change her CINC and passport, does she have to inform CIC of the changes?

I noticed that too. The service is better now. I guess it's the election year
