They do have control of our future though, lol... So we have to comply and pretend we like them and their procedure... And after (if) we become citizens, I hope I will never ever ever ever have to deal with this Federal agency again lol

Dude, you're really overthinking it. No one cares what you wear over there. Just don't show up naked and you're fine.
I wore a hoodie that I found in front of me when I woke up to the test and interview and I'm having my ceremony on the 16th.

Finally took my oath on March 2 at Mississauga center. It was a very well organized event and we end up getting our citizenship certificate. We were asked to wait for two business days before we apply for passports to give enough time for Service Canada's systems to be updated.

I want to thank this forum with my deepest gratitude in helping me all the way from work permit to PR and now to citizenship. I wish all fellow forum members good luck and best wishes in any of their immigration matters that they are dealing with.

Do you know how many people were in the Oath for getting citizenship

Ecas says march 3 was my invitation day.
test is march 20

Did you ask the officer during the interview?

It seems that for Scarborough applicants, Oath will likely be in a couple of months

yes she said you applied in october 2017. so the oath will be before october 2018

It depends on your office. Some send invitations by email, some by regular mail.
(And there may be a delay of up to a few days between the update in ecas and the receipt of the email)

Yes, the thing is: You have DM, I still don't. A friend took his test on the same day as I did and he got DM within 2 days. For me, it's been 15 days post test and still no DM.

Hope I'm not getting RQ...I do have a fair bit of travel history, mainly to Europe.

Based on the waiting list in Scarborough office, your oath will most likely be around July.

Yes, the thing is: You have DM, I still don't. A friend took his test on the same day as I did and he got DM within 2 days. For me, it's been 15 days post test and still no DM.

Hope I'm not getting RQ...I do have a fair bit of travel history, mainly to Europe.

Same here it’s been 17 days since my test and no DM yet. I also have travel history to Europe.
