Also, what kind of additional proofs did u guys take with u? And were u both interviewed? Thanx in advance. Got a interview on march 6. Hopefully this misery is over for the rest of us soon!

I took lots of proof of contact like 50 to 60 screenshots (per month) of whats app chat from jan 2017 to feb 2018, 300 plus photos (marriage and visit photos), FRC, NICOP copies of my wife and son, son’s birth certificate, passport copies of sponsor and son showing entry exit stamps etc

Alhamdolillah got passport visa stamped and COPR right after the interview today.
Sept 2016 applicant.
Interview experience was very good, there were two officers a lady and a male officer both were very nice and polite. It was 15 to 20 mins interview most related to my wife and how is our relationship, nothing complicated. After interview she said that she is satisfied with our relationship and we will contact you after background cheks completed. Then they called me again and took my passport and photographs and after waiting of about one hour i received my passport with visa and COPR as well.

I am 25th Aug applicant, my background checks have still not started.
Because in our case both are second marriage I was thinking it might delay things as I see the pattern on this forum.
Husband sent some money during this time period to wife in Pakistan ( that’s roughly 30K CAD), should we submit the receipts to CIC voluntarily now or should we wait for them to ask? We have a joint account in Pakistan and I submitted proof to them earlier. I was thinking if we submit these money transfer slips they might skip the idea of interview as 30K + is a significant amount.
Also during the voluntary submission of things should I also send them WhatsApp video calls and chat snapshots ?

did they (both male and female) checked all your proof of contact? i mean all screen shots? 300 plus photos?

30000 CND$? if yes? to me LVO can raise a concern why this much big amount was sent to her and for what purpose.?
I had reviewed a case where husband sent a big amount to his wife and raised their concern and inquired about it.
No video calls. or clips they needed from us.
