Hello,
I'm just wondering if anyone in the same boat , I have been waiting my test invite over 2 months nothing new.
I live in Calgary. anyway to check on my file ?
Jobs in Canada are not sure they know how the economy is
Some people they never manage to get a job either
So normal that people will not have long life job and they ll end up with many seasonal jobs
Guys,
I need to add an information that i missed on my application sent on October:
Actually, I was supposed to mention that I have made tax return in 2014 but I didn’t, I just mentioned 2015, 16 and 17
Yes u should be worried they do mistakes and u must call them
For me they put a wrong address
Imagine i send them my application with everything and they send me AOR with another address in another province
They do mistakes u must call them for sure
May be they lost ur pspers
Thank you, I did call them and the agent checked the address and all and said that the he can see the application but still not processed and not sent to any office
To be honest , I have a friend who applied with me at the same time and both of us didn't leave Canada since we landed .. he got his Oath ceremony last week and I'm still IP since 2 months.
I wanna apply for ATIP but no one has share his/here experience after receiving the notes.
So apparently the urgent request processing routine (after you have applied) changed over night. Before on the website it would ask you to call CIC and speak to an agent and seek help from there. Now it is an online form that needs to be filled in with supporting documents. This change happened probably in the last couple of days, and it's completely false that the page was modified on January 8th! Utterly BS! I applied for Urgent Processing two weeks ago and had to go through all the hoops and loops to mail my package and speak to agents. Honest to god, this process reminds me of the torture they put me through when I applied for my PR. The horrors!
The reason I ask this is because there is a great difference in speed of processing from one location to another.
Best to compare your times with others processing in your office.
Vancouver is slow so if you were going through there, your wait so far does not seem too long so you could wait longer before starting to trace progress. Other locations where processing is fast, there might be a point for concern.
Help me with a suitable answer please whoever knows. Here you go:
During the in process stage, at what point of time does our file gets transferred to our local office(Scarborough). Because they were doing my background check while it was in Sydney and now I got to know it's transferred to my local office. Is this mean my background check is completed??
