I think that’s not correct. Usy , it comes together like you dont need medical eaxm if you need we will cantact you

July 20. Got reply from MP office. Security still hasn't been started. They told me " Because you were provided with a timeline of 90 days from the medical examination request to provide the information, there may not be any further updates before the 90 days have passed." They asked me to re-do medical on 18th of December and timeline to do it was 30 days. New medical was passed and received by CIC on the 9th of January. But anyways they say that if they ask you something, do not expect any updates for 90 days from request. Basically they open a file once in 90 days... They recommend follow-up sometime after March 18, 2018. That's very sad... 19 months already passed.

So sad to read this,we are in the same boat,they did not ask me for any medicals and still security is not yet started!We do not have another option other than being patient!We waitied so long so we will be strong for another month!Stay positive

I see my case i upfront july 2016 and it change passed to you do not need it and january 2018 they ask me update new passport and 23rd january they send me an email that they receive it. Does that mean they open my case?

so it took 6 months after expiry date to change from "passed" to " you don't need" ??

My medicals expires spet 10 applicant
When I called CIC it says automatic respond we are processing your background check . It’s being like for 2 days . Do you know which status I’m at . I didnt do upfront medicals I got medical request on Feb

August 19 applicant!

Did upfront medical in april 2017 on feb 9th my medical status changed from passed to if you need medical exam we will send you message. I called them they told me officer send it to medical dept for extension as it was expiring in 2 months.

I called them again today and agent told me they extended my medical today till feb 19th 2019. Nothing was changed on my account though. He told me they will update my account shortly. Fingers crossed now!
