I missed again today. sitting at 440. my IELTS speaking is 7.0 but if i get 7.5 then i get additional 3 points. Is it worth reevaluation ? What is the process and will it affect other scores in anyway ? Cost involved ?
As far as i have seen IELTS score becomes deciding factor to most candidates. I think its worth a try if the cut off scores remain constant. But with your score its tricky as you sit on the border and there MIGHT be CRS 435 cut offs in few months
There is a slight chance for the cut off to remain at CRS 442 but even in the worst case if it does remain at 442, the tie breaking rule date should be a recent date and majority of the folks stuck at CRS 442 should get the invite.
The worst case just happened!
There is a lot of influx to the EE pool at 440+ CRS score and the already stuck applicants are keeping the cut off hovering around the 440s. This trend will continue unless back to back (1 week gap) draws happen OR number of ITAs issued increases to the same numbers as last year (March to May).
After all the analysis you do for the rest of us, its commendable. Keep your spirits high, next draw you will definitely get through. Have some comfort food. Pizza helps me.
For me, I am going to meet my consultant tomorrow and talk to him about the PNP options available to me
Just gutted
When do you guys think the points will fall to 437? I am sitting at 438 and dont see any possibility of increasing my IELTS scores. Except maybe doing a MS program or giving TEF (Idk anything except Bonjour and Bon Soir )....
Congratulations to all those who made it and many thanks to all the wonderful people of this forum for help, information, predictions and what not!! You people are amazing!
Hope the number of ITAs increase, cut-offs reduce and brings cheer to many more!
This time the ielts results for many people was delayed or withheld, they couldn't enter the last draw. So in my opinion all of them were eligible for this draw and it bumped up the number of candidates
