Can someone remind the Mississauga office that they need to step up...? The disparity in processing time between some of the offices is simply jaw-dropping.
hahaha lol yes you are wright at least somebody talked about CPC Mississauga Office. They are slower then snail. If you check the spreadsheet Mississauga office is the slowest in Canada. I still dont know whats going on there. I am also a unlucky person that lives in toronto, address is in toronto but they send my file to Mississauga.
May I ask please how much delay to expect in average as s result of FP? RCMP already didn’t thd results to IRCC the day after I did my FP Ana one week later IRCC confirmed on the phone that they received it. It is almost 2 weeks since IRCC got the FP results with no progress!

I don't think there's any need, if you got the new passport after applying for citizenship. You should take it to the interview, along with the expired passport(s). If there were any gaps in renewals, those should've already been mentioned on the application form.
I received AOR last year Nov 20 and on Dec 13 my ecas changed to in process. I called IRCC on Friday regarding status and was told my file is still in Sydney office. There are no notes on my file and an agent was not sure why it hasn't been transfer to Mississauga already...

Hi, we are a family of 3 which included my 7 year old son. Me and my spouse received our dates for the citizenship test and while I am aware, applicants under 18 years don't have to appear for a test, we have not received any notification for my 7-year old's application. The below was mentioned on our letters, which I am assuming is a generic statement applicable to someone under 18:
"If you were under 18 years of age or 55 years of age or older on the date you signed your application, you are not required to demonstrate your knowledge of Canada or your knowledge of English or French. You are receiving this notice solely for the purpose of attending an interview with a citizenship officer to verify your identity and the originals of the documents you provided with your application."
Can anyone share their experience for an applicant who is under 18 years? Thank you!
Nothing specific [usually] will be sent for an applicant who is under 18 or over 55. The process typically would be: Application > Questionnaire (may or may not) > AOR > Interview (may or may not) > DM > Oath > Voilà

Based on my understanding so far on October applicants, all GTA applicants (except Hamilton) are processed at either Scarborough or Mississauga, with the exception of FP and RQ applicants, who are processed at St. Clair office. I have not seen a straight forward case processed at St. Clair, as only FP and RQ applicants are processed at St. Clair. Hamilton is a separate office which process applicants from Hamilton, Milton, Burlington, and Oakville.
Not sure exactly which date last week (Thursday or Friday) but when I checked on the weekend status was updated to DM. Also although I live in Toronto processing is via Mississauga.

Hello All,
My I ask to add my timeline to the Spreadsheet please.
I sent my application using new forms on 11 Oct
Received by CPC Sydeny on 12 Oct
AOR on 25 Oct
In Process on 14 Nov
I live in Mississauga, ON and the processing office is in Mississauga, ON.
It has been three months since my file's status changed to In Process, I contacted IRCC a couple of times in the last few weeks and I was informed that the file is in transit, Is that normal to have the file in transit for several weeks?!!, Are they sending the file paper by paper or what?
Any one with Mississauga office who is having the same processing timeline?
Thanks
Hello @Joshua1, @razerblade and @Kan_Sri
I got back from my trip and read the FP request and for my surprise the office taking care of my file is Saint Clair in Toronto.
When I got my AOR I saw that they had 2 addresses (one for home and another one, for correspondence I believe) on their file for me and the wife and, as explained by many people here it was something easy to fix, I fixed right away. Now what drives me nuts is that even though I fixed it, they kept me as a Toronto file.
Do you know if there is a way to ask for an office change? I would prefer to do all related to my citizenship here in London instead of having to drive to Toronto.
As for the FP, I'll do it later today and hope it will be quick to hear back for the test.
