You guys!!!! I’m shaking!!!!! I just got a call from the High Commission!!!! Asking if I can come in to Canada before my baby comes and asking me to send in my passport and docs and they’ll process it as fast as possible so I can make it down in time! I already bought my ticket for USA but I am so moving it right now!!!! I don’t even know whether to cry or what to do. I’m just all over the place

Congrats to all who received good news.
I also received news but wih mixed feelings. My gcms notes came back and the notes stated that inteview is required. My case has always been peculiar as my husband was sponsored in a previous marriageso i knew there might be questions. My worry now is the fact that they stated i was refused a trv in 2014( which i declared) and also had 7 attempts at express entry in 2015( that was when we just got married and i was eager to be united with my husband),
Im sure the interview mail will come soon. Or it might not (i hope not let them just send pre arrival). But if it does how do i prepare.. i know @becos had a similar issue if she could share her interview tips id be more than happy.

If and when it does come to interview no worries we have over 100 questions ready to go over.

Interviews can make or break your case all depends on your being truthful and ensuring your marriage is genuine regardless of the amount of times you were refused entry previous times offcourse that question will come up " is your marriage a way to gain entry to canada" that is the main question you need to figure out how it will be answered based on previous attempts. NOW lets just hope interview is waived and or upon going to interview they probably end up not asking you anything all about how you present yourself when you get to the appt.

You are lucky you are pre-informed, by the GCMS notes.
If the interview comes up, the main focus could be your insistence on gaining entry, to Canada, and proving how genuine your marriage is.

However, all fingers crossed till you get further details. Whatever information you receive, would make you know how to plan better.

However, dual intent is not a crime in Canada, and you applying for Expressentry is not an offence, so please practice well, and build your confidence on this.

The good Lord will go before you, and make all crooked paths straight, you would come out of this rejoicing.

No it's not. That is randomly selected.

I don’t think it’s compulsory. I got PPR yesterday without pre arrival services mail. Pre arrival services mail came in some minutes ago.
