I also noticed that the actual questions were not entirely similar to those I did online. I did practice questions from many different sites, and did several well used websites (from previous threads). Reading the book at least a few times is important as well. I was surprised to see some tricky questions on the actual test.

Lol, thank you for the beauty tip, I am located around 450 KM from Edmonton, so my test and oath is scheduled for the same day. My understanding is that the two forms are for the oath ceremony. About receiving Snail mails, My GCMS notes came in today and it says preferred method of communication is Email, so maybe thats why they never sent any snail mail. I received Email notification about the test on the 11th January.
Oh, that makes total sense then. It must be quite a drive from the oilpatch to Edmonton in this weather, stay warm and budget enough time for the test. I am sure you will pass with flying colours. The test is a lot easier than I anticipated (maybe I am lucky and got an easier version), just take your time and do it carefully and before you knew it, you will be a newly minted Canadian citizen.

My understanding is that there are several versions of the test. People I work with who have taken it had a range of experiences, from tricky to unbelievably easy, so just best to be prepared! good luck!

How much time they usually provide between test invite and test? I spoke with immigration officer yesterday and they told me officers will come in February 2018 in Fort McMurray, Alberta for taking exams, interviews and ceremony. I checked the following link which immigration officer provided me. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...tact-ircc/offices/find-temporary-offices.html
Today is Feb 1st, still they're saying dates to be determined and I am waiting for my test invite
