Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

I received my OWP back in the mail today as incomplete stating it was missing:
A current, completed and signed Application to Change Conditions, Extend My Stay, or Remain in Canada as a Worker (IMM 5710) completed and validated online.
It then wants me to mail the entire package, including all requested documents to CPC Vegreville.

This has crushed me a bit as its even stamped that it was received in Mississagua Nov 14, 2017.

I believe my issue was printing the validated IMM 5710 form (stupidly) instead of printing and signing it. In this case I print and actually sign and probably also try to upload the validated form online? I'm unsure of knowing if I've made an additional error on the form thats the actual cause of the return i.e., Would they have marked anything on the form if they needed it?

I did also make sure this is the most up to date form!

I have typed my name below the signature area, validated, and signed the form using the pen. Will that be fine?

Hi guys,
We have our documents + OWP sent out for 3 weeks now and preparing the Police certificates.
1. Do the police certificate have to be hard copy or can we upload the scanned copy into the system after linking the account?
2. Does the Schd A and PCC affect processing of OWP or is it processed separately?

Got AOR tonight!!! Linked everything with no problems.
I used Application number and family name(ALL CAPS), pressed search and filled out all fields with the red arrow (city with 1 space before the name of the city and in CAPS again). 2 members. I don't know why but saw someone saying that here and that was my first try. It worked!
Very happy! For those still waiting, it's coming guys.

My spouse (the principal applicant) received his AOR email already, and today I got an email that reads: 'This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)'.

It looks more like an AOR than SA. Is there such thing as a second AOR, that happens to arrive 24 hours after the first AOR?

Sorry for the stupid question, I'm just confused. TIA!!

I think this is just the Sponsor AOR. My husband hasn't received an AOR yet, just me. But I've read here that sometimes they don't even send it to both. I'm just glad I got it and linked.

Thank you!! Wondering if any if knows how it will work to get the copr since this is the phone interview and also the sin number.

Congrats they will probably send you a copy of the COPR and you'll have to sign and resubmit you to them online and then u can go to service Canada to get your new Sin number.

After linking I saw a message inside my account asking for the schedule A background check form in a PDF letter. The letter dated today and it said that the form needed to be upload until today too but the website is broken and login in a GCKEY account it’s been nearly impossible or a matter of luck. Anyways, I filled out a web form. Didn’t know what to do. My IM5669 was ready but couldn’t upload it. Very frustrating.

Edit: I was able to submit it after trying like a bajillion times. IRCC really tests our nerves.

Call cic immediately don't waste anytime, it's a system glitch and you might need to resend the sch A and police certificate. Just call them and verify.

Oh, same thing with my request. Letter and deadline dated 26 January. I was only able to upload both Schedule A and Police Certificate 29 January. I phoned them yesterday but I was only able to get through an agent this morning. The agent said if I was able to upload and transmit them then, there's no problem because when it's really overdue, I wouldn't be able to do so. The upload option will be locked, if ever. I will have to keep checking my account, though. Just to make sure.

do they request police check from home country even they had it before? when you had your first entry in canada as student? just curious. it was3 years ago.

Yes, this is the AOR for sponsor.

Both principal applicant and sponsor receive AOR in two separate emails.
