just a quick question. I mailed my application to Sydney in the first week of December. How long do I need to expect to get AOR ? Thank you

I think you are unable to check the same until you get AOR.

You can try to link your file using gckey account

Once It's linked, You can trace your file status till you ger AOR. If they returned back, Then you'll get notification message in your account.

You can do this link after 5 bussiness days of application recieved.

For application return, It normally happens as if you missed to sign on one or more than form or you missed to attach mandatory documents/Forms

An Advise Required...

One of my friend got Re-Medicals request this month in his GcKey Account for his entire family. He had download all the attached forms and Undergone his Remedical on 23/01/2018.
But he is a bit upset because he hasn't received any email asking/stating the Re-Medicals from NDVOs side.
As I have created my GcKey Account after the Medical Exam (last January) and haven't received any update in my GcKey Account till date. So I am a bit confused to guide him.
I would further Request @APPNOV2014NY @poisonapple @Betula to kindly guide as per your experience.

Fresh out of the oven - just came back to Montreal from Lacolle border with permanent residency! Very happy now. I probably even look different
As people are always interested in others landing experiences, here is mine: nothing special. I drove to the border with a friend, but we did not flagpole. We went to Champlain because of cheaper gas and had a cup of coffee Then came back, told the Canadian officer that we have immigration paperwork to complete. At the immigration office it took about 15-20 minutes and I was good to go! Passport, current work permit, CSQ, CoPR were sufficient, and they asked me to disclose how much money I had (I was asked to write the sum on a piece of paper, so basically how much I have on my bank account). They informed me that my PR card should arrive in about 90 days... And that I should go visit Service Canada and RAMQ as soon as possible to update my status for new SIN and whatnot. I was there approximately at noon, and there was almost no lineup either way.

When they ask for a doucment like my case (they asked to do annexe A , they said , it misses some lines) is it like PPR soon ?

how long does it take after i sent them back this document ?

They asked me to do mine on 25 Octorber ...Still waiting for decision made

I tried linking my application with my UCI and family name, it said no application found.. Is that normal ? I sent it a month ago and they already received it

Hi guys,

Long time did not come into forum...
Just wanted you to know I landed in Montreal back in November and till now I did not receive the PR card.
after waiting for two months I received email asking for new pictures to be sent again. I sent the picture in mid-january.
So get ready guys when you land here, all people who take pictures in their home country will be asked to retake picture.
Since I applied for Quebec, they always communicate by email, so an actif email is very important.

I completed the landing yesterday. Nothing special in my case, everything went as usual like others. There is no queue in the US gate or in the Canada office, it was empty, totally it took me only 30 minutes.

I thought of cancelling my work permit application with new employer after PR landing, but CIC just approved my WP application within couple of days after approving my PR application.

Few days before i called IRCC to book an appointment in CIC Montreal office for PR landing, officer told me it will take approx. 3 weeks for CIC montreal office to get back to me on the appointment date. So, i thought this is not a good option for me, because i don't like to wait for another 1+ month to become PR.

Went to lacolle border around 8 AM in car, Went towards US gate, mentioned that we came for PR landing, officer provided us the refusal letter by mentioning our names as mentioned in passport, anyway i dont have any US visa. US Officer asked us to make U turn to return back to Canada gate.

In Canada Gate, they had a look at our passport, after that officer gave us a yellow paper with parking gate number, we parked vehicle there, and went to Lacole border inspection building which is just few feet away. As soon as we enter the building, went to the right side counter and saw the Canadian officer. He requested the following details.

CoPR both copies
Passport
Return envelop of CoPR letter mail or any other address proof in Canada( I provided my Hydro Quebec bill)
Bank statement
CSQ
Any goods importing to Canada? We said no
Officer didnt ask me anything about my current work status, old WP's etc.

He asked us to wait, after 10 minutes, Officer called us back and Congratulated for PR & asked us to answer the below question in CoPR
1. Refused admission or required to leave Canada ? No
2. Have you any other dependents other than those listed below? No

Finally we signed the CoPR both copies & Goods import Declaration form provided by Officer & received the client copy of each.

He told us we will get the PR card in 90 days, and asked us to apply for SIN & RAMQ medical card.

Officer told, by land i can visit US with the CoPR client copy, no need to wait till PR card, but if i use flight i need the PR card. In case if i visit some other country before i get PR card, then he told that i should apply for PR visa before travel.

I tried to link my PR card application to my online CIC account, but i cant able to do it.
Should i need to provide the details as mentioned in CoPR document or my PR application?

Because my name & place of birth are in full upper case in CoPR, where as in my PR application only first character is caps.
Whoever had successfully linked their application, please suggest.

I can read that you asked the GSCM for your all field instead of just the electronic note . I did it but I am concern about the fact that it could delay my application process. Did it delay your application ?
