we all already suggested you to go and accompany her at her interview. She will get moral support from you as her husband will be with her and if interviewer wants to asks any questions from you than it will be easier for interviewer to call you right away rather calling you in Canada. Physical presence of yours there will leave a positive impact on interviewer. I am wondering why you never visited your wife since last 14 months. you could have at least found good 2 weeks to visit her. Its your personal choice, but that may be one of the reasons of your interview.
Decision would be yours don't blame us if Allah naan kaare if you go there and something goes wrong.
do Istikhara if u go or not? I visited my wife ... right after 4 months of our marriage. I am planning to visit her again in mid Mar if i don't hear from LVO.

not everyone can even afford to go again .. even if it's for a week or month .. i can't and i haven't .. i am studying part time and working full time .. and i am taking care of my parents on top of that .. i can't leave them alone .. people have personal problems .. and if LVO questions my not visiting my husband, i will provide them with medical reports of my father along with other documents ..

@SNGHL_2013 .. they dont really need you at the interview physically .. if you can go easily, then do so .. if you can't, get letters from your employer etc proving why you can't be there physically .. these official people understand why we can't go there every few months .. yeh b yaheen paida huwain hain .. they will call you instead if you can't go .. so either way, you have to be available for the interview as well .. app agar ja saktay ho to jao .. agar nahi to koi zoor zabardasti nahi hai .. agar phir b kisi say mashwara layna hai, then go meet your MP ..

as for your question about the letters/emails etc .. where did you get the interview letter? email ya cic mein? if cic, then check cic again. shayad wahan koi attachment ho .. agar email mein ayi hai, then chk your emails again .. chk that email also to see if there are any attachments .. agar phirb kuch nahi nazar aaraha, call cic, email LVO (urgent likhna na bhoolna) .. else i am sorry, i have no other solution for you .. btw, how many days has passed since you got your interview date? 5 days nahi hogaye? arent you late in askin us this? agar do din mein kuch nahi pata chala tha to ap ko usi waqt action layna chaheya tha .. again, get in touch with your MP right away and ask them to contact CIC to get your instructions ASAP ..

Online it says the following:
Review of additional documents The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.

I visited my wife in Sept of 2017 - so i sent additional information of the trip to the LVO email address (it was tough getting the file under 2MB :S)

SO thats where our app stands...... everything is under review status online (which hasnt changed since the file went to LVO)

I hope they are doing batch applications this coming week.......kinda disheartening to see them skipping applications in Que........


PS: havent applied for notes yet.......heard it takes close to a month to receive them.....?

so u never mailed your documents to LVO? why you guys are not choosing to mail your documents rather sending it to LVO via email?

I would say mail your documents to LVO.
Once you receive the interview letter, send email to LVO right away and request for interpreter of your desire language.

I sent it last week via email, got the confirmation email of delivery BUT i do get your point.

I agree and there is no such condition in immigration laws and polices that Sponsor should go and must go to meet his / her wife / husband.
I know it is not easy to travel back to Pakistan. It cost us money and time and hassle of travelling back and forth sitting 60 thousand feet in a plane for 14 hours (tor to Kar) and 16-17 hrs (Kar to Tor). It is really painful.
Plus if we have enough vacations as well and if we have enough budget for these travel.But i am still wondering why LVO still take it very serious and raise question why we never visited our spouse? Why we never gone back? They should know all this what you have explained already above and i totally agree with you.
I visited my wife for 4 weeks not bcoz i want to show LVO my marrige is genuine, but actually i really wanted to meet her and see her and same was with her and if i go again in Mar, it is bcoz i really want to see her meet her bcoz we both miss each other alot.
To me Alhamdulillah I can travel back and forth to Pakistan if i have to meet my wife don't care what it cost me and how expensive it is.
This what we are making and earning. i have my mother also lives with and got tons of expenses but it now OR Never situation lolz

Excellent!! and that email confirmation is i think automated? means doesn't guarantee if they are really looking for 10000s of emails that they are receiving everyday. they may look after 30 days but regsitered mail will reach there in just 3-4 days max 5 days.
