Finally Finally we received interview call letter today. I just saw that in mycic account.
We are May 2017 applicant. We knew about the potential interview since Nov. 21st.
I have some questions regarding the documents they asked. I will post them in a separate post.
have you received any PFL before your wife's interview call? What you think of your interview call, why they are calling your wife for an interview? I believe you are first marriage case as well according to spreadsheet. What triggered LVO to call you for an interview?
Your interview date is Feb 27th. Insha Allah all will go well with her interview means she would be joining you by end of March or before Insha Allah.
Thank you for letting us know about this. My wife is also waiting for an interview so that means she should be expecting an email soon about the interview.

There is no red flag in our file as for as I know. I stayed outside of Canada 2 out of last 5 years, maybe this is the reason but apart from this , no clue why
In interview letter they say, If your sponsor is in Canada, bring his/her phone number or if he/she is in Pakistan then he/she should accompany you in interview.
I have not visited my wife since I came to Canada in Nov. 2016 (around 14 months passed). Do you think I should go to Pakistan and accompany my wife on her interview day ? Would that be any beneficial for our application ?

so they don;t refuse the Application based on PFL? and call for an interview? also i notice some folks here called for an interview with out receiving their PFL.?
I am one of those cases who never received additional documents/PFL and were directly put in interview queue. So you see everything is quite possible in each particular case. It depends on visa officer what kind of clarifications he need. Whether it can be satisfied with the requested documents or a personal meeting is required.
Plz some one tell me
I had interview 3weeks ago and officer said to me I am satisfied but I don't receive any official response up to now is there any possibility my case get rejected cause to I don't receive any official response
Make an LVO inquiry or involve your local MP to get an update on your case. You don't need to worry if VO was satisfied at the time of interview. Your file is just waiting a final review before finalising it. Sit back and relax. PPR is just round the corner.

You should have a good explanation of not being able to visit her this long. If you want to accompany her then go ahead but this is no requirement. Plus, they could have asked you If you couldn't visit her during this long period how did u manage to visit her now. I have known a case where this was asked. So be prepare for everything and gather your documents efficiently. Did u recently order your notes? If so, look for the VO's concerns in the comments section at the end of the notes and prepare your documents accordingly.

I don't think this could be the reason. Your sponsorship is already approved. You not visiting your spouse for a long time could be one of the reasons.

I should say you should go. Like this you can meet your wife as well it been 14 months u guys didn't meet. You can provide an explanation that you were thinking to visit once to bring her to canada once she gets the immigration so you were plannign for that time but now its taking time so you come to visit her and also accompanying her for her interview. I don't think so it will leave a negative impact on the interviewer? Choice is yours but if i were you. I would go.

But then they should have interview of the sponsor and asks him why you are not visiting your wife for that long ? why they always bother PA (husband OR wife) for an interview.? Husband not visiting her wife so an explanation is required from Husband what is wife's fault?
