The notes i got in sept 2017 said my file is still awaiting initial review , applied again got them in Nov 2017, it had few concerns about communication proof and why my rukhsati was not traditional ( i had nikkah n rukhsati from my house & reception valima next day with around 250 guests) they wanted to see divorce documents, provided them everything and explained why rukhsati was from home plus few more proofs as we are residing together on dec 1, now i have ordered notes again on Jan 15 and still waiting so im not sure about the reason for interview, cant contact MP as im not in Canada

I don't get it why they call rukhsati and nikhah done at home untraditional. I did the same thing rukhsati and nikhah at home but reception at hotel. It was easy for us to handle 600 guests at hotel.
@ Anne will you please advise me what could be better explanation for rukhsati and nikhah at home

My in laws wanted a simple nikah and rukhsati, my dad is not alive and they did not want to burden my mom with useless expense. Plus my husband did everything from his own salary so we had limited budget.. i dont have any other explanation

Kehnay ko its only 9.5 months for us, but bahot mushkil time hai yeh, separation, time difference, upar se interview, rejection, pfl har cheez ka dar! Hang in there, if your marriage is genuine it wont be hard to prove it to anyone, CIC ki to aisi ki ...!
