Hi Guys, I just wanted to let all of you sept applicants know that my husband got Decision Made on Friday. our application was received on Sept 27 and transferred to Ankara VO on Nov 22. I hope all of you still waiting will get the good news sooner than later.
It is even interesting to note that AVO is well known by CIC for their peculiar laziness and slowness, and one of the few, if not only visa office, who still sends medical request, others get medical request from CIC before transferring the file to their respective VOs.
AVO sends medical at almost exactly five months into application process, they update it, then wait again for ten months mark, before they start work again.
It's sad , but what can we do.
The files keep packing dust, when it is time to work, they open it again.
We can only wait, and hope this season of silent torture ends soon.
As a September 2017 applicant here when do you believe a decision will be made for us according to what other persons on this forum have experienced regarding timeline? Thank you.

AVO it's still getting through March 2017 applications, so it will be quite a few months still. You should receive your request for medicals soon though, probably within the next 3 or 4 weeks. A August 2017 applicant just received theirs.
Does anyone know how long it takes for Spousal Sponsorship PPR after medical is completed? My spouse passed medical since 20th October but we haven't heard anything.
We would be nearing 12 months of application on 8 March.

Their timeline seems to be a little out. Others received their medical requests a lot earlier in the process. For most of us being assessed under the new process, we received our medical requests after 5 months. If they applied in March, they should have received their MRs in August.
