another question what if the person has stayed for more than 183 days in india in a year in parts (like 3 months in first half of the year and around 3 months in the second half of the year) does he still need a police clearance certificate from india

It looks like today they started going back to some applications from mid-January. I still believe that they keep moving forward to keep average number of days to get AOR reasonable and while doing so they miss intentionally some applications, and then they go back to them later (today looks like one of those days where they go back to missed applications).

yes, if those 183 days fall in the duration of last 4 years. so lets say if you decide to apply today for citizenship; from Jan 18, 2014 till today if you have stayed in India for more than 183 days, you have to submit police certificate with your application else not.

yes, if those 183 days fall in the duration of last 4 years. so lets say if you decide to apply today for citizenship; from Jan 18, 2014 till today if you have stayed in India for more than 183 days, you have to submit police certificate with your application else not.

so these 183 days that the person has stayed is in parts and has filed his tax for the year in canada

yes they are in parts in span of 4 years from date of application and has nothing to do with where you filed your taxes. Income tax requirement is different from this.

I applied in Sept 2017 and got conformation for citizenship application from CIC on October 27, 2017

Today I received letter with REQUEST FOR FINDERPRINTS

Has anybody else also received this from CIC, what does this mean.
