I believe ECAS should always show the name on your PR Card or CoPR; however, once finalized, your citizenship certificate should show your new name.

Can someone tell me if it's mandatory to inform IRCC of a trip as I'll be going for 1 week down south in a couple days.
Note: I just received my AOR on Dec 29 so I'm expecting the "In-Procces " sometime in February ...

No it is not mandatory. Congrats on AOR. Updated the spreadsheet

Congrats to those who have received IP/test invites. My application was received by CIC on 25th Oct 2017 and I am still waiting for an AOR. This keeps on getting more and more frustrating day after day. Any idea how long I should wait before I take any action like sending in another application?

As of this morning I noticed on Ecas, it mentioned they have send me correspondence to send additional document/request. From what I noticed in tis forum this could be a request for FP. I haven't physically received the request via Mail or email. I will update the forum when I do.

I have contacted them twice through the web form and phone call. They said I have to wait until the end of this week. If I don't hear anything, will give them a call on Monday. I hope I hear good news this time, other than their usual crap replies!

Almost Shure it is but fingerprints request come thru canada post regular mail....
