This might be a stupid question but when some of you say current cases are being done in 7-8 months, does it mean 7-8 months right from when you submit via mail or 7-8 from when you get the acknowledgment?

the day CPC-M received your application and acknowledged that your application has been received on that day..
e.g. if your application is received on Jan 1st, 2018, then first day of application process day will be Jan 1st. 2018. Sept 1st 2018 will be 8th month.

Hi guys i need advise, i recently visited my spouse in Pakistan. I try to update lvo about the visit with documents and second thing to update my address but they came back and said submit the application through IRCC. I already submitted the application to update my address should i also submit any voluntary documents for visit to IRCC? Scared of taking any action now cant afford any delay 9 months passed already still no response stuck on BGC since july 2017

Please pray for me I’m very upset, I was looking at tickets but I know I can’t go and it doesn’t make sense I’ve waited 5 months I can wait 2-3 more inshallah. I’m in the middle of my college I can’t go my parents will be so upset.... and it’s 1200 dollar ticket.

I am sorry for your loss. I have been in a long distance for 5 years now. Just try to distract yourself with studies and a bit of study-groups/lunch/dinner/hangouts or even Netflix! Insha'Allah you will hear from them sooner or later! And yes don't forget to pray for the best results.

I recieved another email from LVO for additional documents in dec.... i already sent all the information through couries service on this adress
Immigration and medical service division canada house trafalgar square London GB sw1y5bj.
Now i dont know the exact officer who is dealing with my case recieved my add docs or not? How do i know about that?? Em so worried plz help..

I sent in the application for my spouse on 11 NOV 2017
Received on 17 NOV 2017.

So far I have not heard anything. hopefully next month im expecting they would send me a letter or something.

I think your question has been answered before: Send an email to LVO asking them if they received your docs and whether they have been added to your case file or not.

salam guys .. hope you all are fine.. i was reading all your previous comments .. my file got submitted on 8 feb 2017 and the guys from april may june they got ppr and i am still awaiting i got pre arrival on 29 dec after that nothing is new till yet... can anybody tell me why they are taking so much time and when i can get good news about my application?? its more then 11 months now

No need. Just write the date and name of courier service. I did the same.
