Is it wise to call CIC to know application status ? Do agent really help on getting real information on current status instead of standard answer ?

Edit: updated test date to Jan 10, DM to Jan 11.

Congrats !!! Now you are in SK so it’s hard to relate with edmonton. Boz u got in process on 24 oct and I got mine 25 oct . High hopes for test invite this or next week.

did you got the invitation for test?

No invitation yet. I did call to make sure the fingerprints had gotten there and the agent told be that my background check was "complete" so I assume that means yes. I am guessing that the delay with my app is the 4.5 pages of trips in the physical presence calculator. Not that it should be an issue as I have more than enough buffer days and have been living in Canada as a PR since 2003, but I imagine it takes a while to go through it all.
