Citizenship Applications Delivered: October 16-20, 2017 (C6)

Hello,

My application was received on October 20th signed by Mike.
I called and sent out CSE and kept receiving standard answers.

I am thinking of resubmitting, my original application was signed October 16th.
Can I resubmit with the same date or do I need to change the date ?

I think you should wait for a little while longer if they were going to return it they would have done it already.thats just my opinion.

About 2 weeks everyone is returning back to work this week after winter break so let’s hope they start working and applications again.goodluck .

Application sent on Oct 20 and received by IRCC on Oct 23 2017.

Still no updates

Can someone please provide the contact email so I can contact IRCC because call centre is really busy and it doesn't even transfer the call

Application was delivered on 18th , nothing grom cic yet.

Submitted my nee application lastweek and it got delivered today, hoping ymthey atleadt open up my second application.

i dont see the point of re-applying. but you ask a very good question - how long to wait. you should refer to the the citizenship tracking excel sheet and see if anyone around your application dates has received AOR within the last week or so. if the answer is yes, then continue to wait. CIC is still working on your applications.

re-application should only happen if there is evidence that CIC has moved past the applicants that applied along with you. makes sense to you?

I would say six months because after six months.

Why? In the guide it says your application will be returned if it is stale dated six months. Not the same thing but to give you an idea.

c'mon you are not serious asking OP to wait for six months....hopefully, he'll hear well before that.

but just for discussion purposes, lets take the hypothetical case -
lets say six months pass, even then you dont need to re-apply for date of signature reasons. the fact that the application was received within six months should be enough. if applicants had to re-apply because CIC took six months to open & process the package, then what is the guarantee that CIC wont take six months for the re-application to open. and if that happens, it will be a never-ending cycle of re-applications.
